Eurodoc 2010: Doctoral Training and Research – the Link between European Higher Education and Research Areas
The annual conference of Eurodoc, the European Council for Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers takes place on March 11th to 15th at the Technical University Vienna, Austria. On March, 12th and 13th the conference will feature plenary sessions on - Doctoral Training as Link between European Higher Education Area and European Research Area - Analysis of the Results of the first Europe-wide Survey among Early Stage Researchers about their situation and their research environment - How to Strenghten Research Capacity in Central, Eastern and Southern European countries in the European Research Area Workshops will give participants the opportunity to interact and develop recommendations for the future of research training beyond 2010. A fair with stands and posters will allow institutions, projects and companies to present their activities and products to the audience of young researchers and policy makers. The conference finishes on March 14th and 15th with internal discussions among young researchers and the general assembly of Eurodoc.
